In response to COVID-19, Duke Integrative Medicine will be open for medical visits only at this time. Use of facilities, and all other in-person outpatient services and in-person programs will be suspended until further notice. Some outpatient visits will be done via video or telephone. Working closely with world-class faculty, participants conduct a comprehensive personal assessment to evaluate their own strengths and needs before progressing into course work. The program includes work in personal transformation through a focus on the role of mindfulness and self-awareness in health and well-being. It also emphasizes the importance of developing strategic relationships both within one’s institution and beyond.
Understanding the challenges of creating a successful business model in health and well-being, the program examines business and financial models currently in use, highlighting other leaders’ experiences and showcasing viable centers. Program graduates receive personalized counsel to create a detailed, tailored business project to help them implement health and well-being strategies within their own organizations.
