Emeralds of Oz: Activate the Wisdom from The Wizard of Oz and Improve Your Life

Chapel Hill author and editor Peter Guzzardi took a deep dive into the most-watched film of all time – a film now celebrating 80 years – and discovered an amazing tool: Nine large chunks of wisdom help Dorothy along her journey. When we apply these “Emeralds of Wisdom” to obstacles in our own lives, in the same order Dorothy did, our issues shrink and we expand. We feel centered, clear, joyful, and capable of facing whatever we encounter on own Yellow Brick Road. The Emeralds can be used to address specific problems and as a form of daily meditation. In this 90-minute experiential workshop, participants will be invited to:

  • Explore the 9 Emeralds – ranging from “Listen to Your Longing” to “You Already Possess What You Desire Most”
  • Utilize the Emerald’s worksheet to reflect on and bring clarity to a personal issue or challenge
  • Participate in guided discussions to share insights and breakthroughs
