The United States spends the most per capita on healthcare across all developed countries, yet lags behind other high-income countries in life expectancy and many other health outcome measures. There is increasing recognition of the importance of a patient-centered, personalized and health-oriented approach to medical care by all types of practitioners and within all types of healthcare settings.
Integrative Healthcare leaders have been researching and modeling this type of care for three decades and have proven that implementing integrative strategies can transform care delivery and lead to improved outcomes and quality of care, lower costs, and increased patient engagement, activation, and satisfaction.
