Patricia Dennis is now the CEO for Fulcrum Health, a nonprofit organization who develops innovative and inspiring ways to leverage physical medicine that not only help lower health care costs, but also achieve better outcomes and increased patient satisfaction.
When Patricia graduated from the Leadership Program in Integrative Medicine and Health, she was the Senior Vice President of Health and Care Engagement for HealthPartners. In that role, she provided the vision, strategic direction and operational leadership to engage members and patients through a personalized, integrated, seamless approach.
For her leadership business project, she implemented a pilot integrative medicine program designed to reduce the likelihood of Chronic Pain Syndrome by intervening before patients have pain lasting more than 12 weeks, rather than treating their pain after it has become chronic

The project was well underway when she decided to resign from HealthPartners in order to spend more time with her aging parents and new grandson. She recently returned to the healthcare arena, as CEO for Fulcrum Health. “After a comprehensive, national search process, the board is pleased to have found the best individual to assume leadership of this organization,” said Dr. Mark Dehen, chair of Fulcrum’s board of directors. “We’ve selected a very strong leader at a time when Fulcrum is in a very strong position. Ms. Dennis’ extensive health care background and ability to translate vision and strategy into world-class execution make her an extraordinary fit.”
Patricia is excited to leverage her leadership, operational, and health insurance industry experience, along with the business mindset and collaborative spirit that will shape, develop and execute distinctive strategies that create a win-win for Fulcrum and the people they serve.
