In response to COVID-19, Duke Integrative Medicine will be open for medical visits only at this time. Use of facilities, and all other in-person outpatient services and in-person programs will be suspended until further notice. Some outpatient visits will be done via video or telephone. Irene M. Estores, MD, FAAPMR, Is the Medical Director, UF Health Integrative Medicine Program at the University of Florida College of Medicine. The program is now completing its fourth year and they are working on horizontal integration into our academic center and health care system. They currently collaborate with the College of Pharmacy through a pharmacist- supported pain management clinic embedded in our medical oncology clinic. They will be moving to a new site that co-locates them with primary care physicians, Pain Anesthesia, Psychiatry and Clinical Psychology to increase patient access to our services and enhance professional interaction. They recently launched a longitudinal course, Promoting Resilience in Medicine at the College of Medicine, aimed at to enhancing self-awareness and self-care for students and faculty.
