(Please note this course is a legacy course previously part of the IHCPT program. New students, or students trained in the Foundation Course pre-April 17, 2017, should register for DHWCT to complete certification and be prepared for the National Board exam)

Registration Process

Certification Course registration is limited to those who have successfully completed the Foundation Course.

To meet the training eligibility requirements to sit for the HWC Certifying Examination required for health & wellness coaches to become National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coaches (NBC-HWC), graduates of the Foundation Course online Cohorts 01-07 or Cohorts 33-43 in-person should apply.

Registrations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis and require payment in full. We will offer a waitlist for courses that fill to maximum capacity prior to the registration deadline.

The course registration fee is $1,440.00

Those that register by the noted early registration deadline qualify for a 10% discount.

Duke Affiliates qualify for a 15% discount at the time of their registration. This discount is not eligible to be combined with the early registration discount. Duke Affiliates are defined as Duke Employees, Duke Registered Volunteers, and Duke Students.

Standard Duke Integrative Medicine cancellation policies apply.

Statement of Joint Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, Duke University Health System Clinical Education & Professional Development is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

The designation was based upon the quality of the educational activity and its compliance with the standards and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
