In response to COVID-19, Duke Integrative Medicine is open for medical visits at this time. We are also offering acupuncture and 30-minute massage appointments. Nutrition and behavioral health continue to be available for phone or video nutrition visits. Use of facilities and in-person programs continue to be suspended until further notice. Dr. Henninger is the Strategic Services Associate for Duke Primary Care Administration. She advises leaders on strategic planning for annual work culture and patient satisfaction plans, managing change, interpersonal relationships and executive coaching. She created a work culture manual, data summary and action planner for Duke Primary Care leaders.
She is a member of the Duke Patient Experience Oversight Team, the Duke Patient Safety Committee, and the Duke Values Committee. Dr. Henninger has spoken on patient engagement at the Patient Safety Conference, as well as stress and work culture as it pertains to nursing education.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Individual and Family Studies from The Pennsylvania State University, a Master of Social Work from Tulane University, and a Doctor of Education from North Carolina State University.
