Mr. Soriano is Manager of Nursing Informatics and the Clinical Transformation Program at Kaiser Permanente. He is a healthcare leader with extensive experience in nursing informatics, clinical operations, management, clinical education, electronic medical record design, implementation, optimization, and training. In his role at Kaiser Permanente he provides boundary spanning leadership between Patient Care Services (PCS) and KPIT to promote evidence-based, highly reliable, efficient and safe patient care. He leads cross functional and inter-professional teams in the Clinical Transformation Program to foster innovation and continuously improve the way care is delivered across the care continuum. In this nurse leadership role, he focuses on transforming information into knowledge and leading change by integrating technology with patient care.
Mr. Soriano received his BSN from the University of San Francisco, his MS in nursing at California State University-Sacramento, and is currently working toward his PhD in Nursing Science and Healthcare Leadership from the University of California, Davis.
