(This announcement is being hosted on the Duke Integrative Medicine while updates are made to the Duke Diet and Fitness website).
We’re writing to let you know that we are making some changes to our programs at the Duke Diet & Fitness Center to continue providing the best care possible to our clients.
For many years we have had a residential-style program where clients could come for one to four weeks at a time for an immersive experience, along with our outpatient medical, nutritional and behavioral weight management offerings. This program has been paused since March 2020, and we have decided to discontinue the residential-style program to build a more robust outpatient medical weight management program.
We’re so grateful for the support of all of our clients over the years, and we celebrate and honor the many lives that have been so positively impacted by the residential program. We cherish the relationships that we have formed and hope they will continue in new ways.
Our new Duke Medical Weight Management Program will allow us to grow our current comprehensive outpatient services, as well as add new programming to help those with chronic disease or obesity. Some of the exciting new elements we are looking to add may include:
We encourage you to continue to keep in touch with those you met through the program and to stay in touch with the Duke Diet & Fitness Center by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Our Duke Diet & Fitness team is always here to help you. Please feel free to contact us if you have questions or need assistance with other care services.
