Mindful Eating Consultation
Mindful eating provides an opportunity to learn how to slow down and pay attention to all of the sensations of eating—not only taste, but smell, texture and sight. When eating mindfully, individuals notice how the stomach expands and feels fuller while eating.
Clients can then slow down and experience increased satisfaction while eating. Research is supportive of mindful eating approaches for binge-eating disorders, weight loss, and weight loss maintenance.
