Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Consultation
These individual sessions are opportunities to discuss, in depth, the relationship of one’s inner life to the healing process, and the importance and application of compassionate attention and non-judging awareness (“mindfulness”) in that process. The focus of the session may range from an exploration of the origins and means of coping with stress in one’s life, to instructions related to meditation and mindfulness practice, to a conversation related to sources of meaning, purpose, and happiness in the participant’s life, and the strategies for more actively engaging these sources of strength to create optimal health.
