Integrative Massage & Bodywork

Massage has been used for thousands of years as a healing tool for the body and mind. Massage is a technique to manipulate muscles, ligaments, tendons, and other soft tissue with the aim of relieving muscle tightness, increasing blood flow, relaxing or stimulating the nervous system, and aiding in the release of toxic substances from the body, thus reducing stress.

Research shows that massage is beneficial for many chronic conditions such as arthritis, back pain, fatigue, high blood pressure, diabetes, infertility, depression, and anxiety. Massage can reduce the symptoms from cancer treatment as well as support individuals experiencing post-operative discomfort. Massage can help with headaches, sports injuries, PMS, pregnancy and childbirth. Massage also helps relieve the stress and tension of everyday living that can lead to disease and illness.
