Prior to becoming Director of Duke Integrative Medicine, Tracy Gaudet, M.D., was the founding Executive Director of the University of Arizona's Integrative Medicine Program, where she led the design of the country's first comprehensive curriculum in this emerging field. During that time, she coordinated the successful establishment of the Integrative Medicine teaching clinic and launched a two-year fellowship program intended to produce physician leaders and foster the redesign of medical education. A practitioner in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a noted expert in women's health issues, she serves as the Lifestyles Makeover Medical expert on Oprah, and has been featured on ABC News, 20/20 and Arts and Entertainment. She has been published in numerous academic and professional journals such as AM News and Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine, and Bantam published her new book, Consciously Female in 2004.
Dr. Gaudet attended the Duke University School of Medicine and earned her M.D. degree with honors before completing her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas, San Antonio.

Shelley Wroth, M.D. - Director of Clinical Services; Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology
Dr. Wroth obtained her medical doctorate from the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University and completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Duke University Medical Center. She is the Director of Clinical Services at Duke Integrative Medicine, where she provides integrative health care to women through consults, as well as enrollment and immersion experiences.
She was a recipient of the Bravewell Fellowship and completed a two year fellowship in Integrative Medicine through Dr. Andrew Weil's program at the University of Arizona. Her special interests include bridging the gap between complementary and alternative practices and conventional medicine to achieve optimal health for women, and approaching health as a foundation for achieving life meaning and purpose.

Ruth E. Quillian-Wolever, Ph.D. - Director of Research; Assistant Clinical Professor, Psychiatry
Ruth Quillian Wolever is a clinical health psychologist and the Research Director of Duke Integrative Medicine (Duke IM). She specializes in behavior change, treatment of stress-related problems, and mind-body health. Both her research and her clinical practice focus on utilizing the connection between mind and body to improve health, and the application of integrative medicine techniques to affect lifestyle change. Ruth also consults with Duke Corporate Education and the Fuqua School of Business Executive Education programs, helping executives identify strategies to better manage their challenging environments.
From a research perspective, Ruth studies the integration of innovative Mind-Body-Spirit treatments into mainstream medicine. She has specifically explored such treatments to improve sleep, weight management, diabetes control, and other health indices; some of this work focuses on the role of integrative health coaching in creating significant lifestyle change. Her research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health (National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, National Institute of Mental Health, Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine, and the Office of Women’s Health), the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and by GlaxoSmithKline.
Ruth has been working in the field of Health Psychology since 1989 and at the Duke University School of Medicine since 1994. Ruth received her PhD in Clinical Health Psychology from the University of Miami in 1994, and completed her Clinical Internship at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill the same year. She is licensed as a Clinical Psychologist (State of NC), is certified as a Health Services Provider (NC), a PAIRS Facilitator (PAIRS Foundation, Fairfax, VA), a Lifeskills trainer (Williams’ Lifeskills Inc., Durham, NC), and is credentialed in Medical Hypnotherapy (Institute for Health Psychology & American Society for Clinical Hypnosis) as well.
Formerly, Ruth was the Clinic Director of Duke Integrative Medicine, and the Director of the Health Psychology component of the Duke University Executive Health Program, Duke Diet and Fitness Center, and Duke Health and Fitness Center (collectively known as the Duke Center for Living). Prior to entering the field of Health Psychology, Ruth earned her B.A. in Spanish at the University of Virginia, taught in the Dade County Public High Schools and directed a youth program in South Florida. She and her husband Mark are active in educating the public on Rett Syndrome. Her deepest delight is her daughter Emma.

Sam Moon, M.D., M.P.H. - Director of Education; Associate Clinical Professor, Family and Community Medicine,Occupational and Environmental Medicine
Dr. Moon is the Duke Integrative Medicine Director of Corporate Activities and a member of the Duke Integrative Medicine Steering Committee. His primary specialty is Occupational and Environmental Medicine (OEM); and he serves as Chief of the OEM Division in the Department of Community & Family Medicine at Duke. He is certified by the American Board of Pain Medicine.
Dr. Moon's clinical background includes nine years of rural primary care on the Oregon-Washington border, four years in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation center for pain disorders, and eleven years in an academic occupational and environmental medicine practice at Duke. He provides consultation for employees, workgroups and employers on numerous issues of health & work.
Dr. Moon lectures nationally and internationally. His scholarly activities focus on ergonomics, musculoskeletal disorders, the mind-body interaction in occupational health, and the physician-patient interaction.

Jeffrey Brantley, M.D. - Director of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction; Consulting Associate, Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences
Dr. Brantley completed his psychiatry residency at the University of California at Irvine Medical Center. He is Board Certified in psychiatry and worked for 14 years in community mental health and private practice. Dating back to medical school, meditation has been a focal point of Dr. Brantley's private life, as well as an integral part of his work with persons seeking healing in their lives.
Dr. Brantley has been practicing meditation for over 25 years personally, and has been teaching programs in mindfulness meditation for over 10 years. As the founder and Director of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program at the Center for Integrative Medicine Dr. Brantley teaches intensive courses on mindfulness meditation and conducts extensive experiential programs and group lectures.
Dr. Brantley is the author of Calming Your Anxious Mind: How Mindfulness and Compassion Can Free You of Anxiety, Fear, and Panic, available from New Harbinger Press.

Michelle L. Bailey , M.D. - Pediatric Integrative Medicine Physician; Director of Education
Dr. Bailey received her M.D. at the State University of New York Health Sciences Center at Brooklyn and completed her residency in Pediatrics at Duke University Medical Center, North Carolina. Dr. Bailey directs educational programs in integrative medicine for medical students, residents, and faculty at Duke. She currently provides primary care in the department of pediatrics and provides integrative medicine consultations for children on a variety of health conditions at Duke Integrative Medicine.
Dr. Bailey was a recipient of the Bravewell Fellowship scholarship award and completed the 2 year Associate Fellowship program in Dr. Andrew Weil's Program in Integrative Medicine through the University of Arizona. Special interests include community education in nutrition and prevention and management of overweight and obesity in children. She is planning to pursue research in pediatric integrative medicine, specifically looking at the effectiveness of mind-body therapies for a variety of conditions affecting children.

Louise Goldstein, RN, CNIV, OCN, CHPN - Nurse Program Coordinator
Louise is a Registered Nurse maintaining specialty certifications in Oncology Nursing and Hospice and Palliative Nursing. She has been working in the Nursing Department at Duke University Health Systems for 14 years in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. Louise was on the opening team of the first free-standing Acute Care Inpatient Hospice facility in the Triangle and remained on their staff for 5 ½ years, providing comfort care and helping to “normalize” the dying process and the grieving process for her patients and their families. Prior to becoming a nurse, Louise was the manager of a multidisciplinary physician and health provider group in New York City.
Louise’s professional practice has always been focused on integrative holistic health, patient advocacy, and patient education, concentrating on the philosophy of “health-care” as opposed to “sick-cure.”
Louise currently serves on the Duke Center for Cancer Survivorship advisory board and the Duke Human Resources Advisory Council. She also continues to co-facilitate Bereavement Support Groups for Duke Community Bereavement Services at the beautiful Unicorn Bereavement Center in Hillsborough, North Carolina.

Eric J. Hegedus, PT, DPT, MHSc, OCS, CSCS - Physical Therapist
Eric J. Hegedus, PT, DPT, MHSc, OCS, CSCS is a physical therapist with 16 years of academic, patient care, and administrative experience. He has practiced in numerous musculoskeletal areas including Sports Medicine and Chronic Pain, bust most extensively in outpatient Orthopaedics.
In addition to his work with Integrative Medicine, he is currently an Assistant Professor at Duke University in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Division where he teaches the Musculoskeletal Practice Management series of courses and assists with the teaching of the Manual Therapy elective. Dr. Hegedus is actively involved in research in the areas of clinical outcomes and the diagnostic accuracy of the clinical examination.
In addition to his book Orthopedic Physical Examination Tests: An Evidence-Based Approach, Dr. Hegedus has authored a chapter on manual therapy of the shoulder, and 8 additional articles. Dr. Hegedus has twice been awarded the “Excellence in Teaching” award at Duke University and in 2005, received the OPTP/JMMT Literature Review award.

Tracey J. Moon, LMBT - Director of Massage Therapy Services
Tracey J. Moon, LMBT, leads the massage therapy program team at Duke Integrative Medicine. She is a North Carolina Licensed Massage Therapist and has been in practice for 9 years. Tracey draws from her experiences in private practice, providing healing to a diverse clientele, including individuals in need of stress management, undergoing cancer therapy, or coping with chronic conditions. Through her involvement at Duke Diet and Fitness Center she has also worked extensively with people struggling with weight management.
As an integrative bodyworker, Tracey skillfully blends techniques of Swedish and Myofascial massage, energy balancing as well as deep intuitive listening to create an individualized experience for each client. With Tracey's wide range of therapeutic massage techniques and her knowledge from 13 years of a personal yoga practice, she can artfully create strategies to bring balanced living and harmony into her clients' lives.
Tracey has a B.S. from the University of Delaware. She received her massage training in 1998 at the Body Therapy Institute (BTI), a holistic massage therapy school located in Siler City, North Carolina. Tracey now serves as faculty at BTI. Additionally, she is a graduate of The Spirit of Learning, a massage educator training program and is an Associated Massage and Bodywork Professionals Association member.

Carol Krucoff, R.Y.T. -
Yoga Therapist
Carol Krucoff is a yoga instructor/therapist specializing in the therapeutic use of yoga for people with health challenges. A contributing editor for Yoga Journal magazine and founding editor of The Washington Post’s Health Section, Carol is co-author of “Healing Moves: How to Cure, Relieve and Prevent Common Ailments with Exercise.”
Carol is a registered yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance and a certified personal trainer with the American Council on Exercise. She is a graduate of the Yoga of the Heart Cardiac and Cancer Certification Training, which focuses on adapting yoga for people with heart disease, cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. A member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists, Carol is on the Peer Review Board for the International Journal of Yoga Therapy and served as co-director of Duke Integrative Medicine’s Yoga Teacher Training Intensive, Teaching Yoga to Seniors, in the spring of 2007.
In addition to practicing yoga for more than 25 years, Carol spent a decade studying martial arts. As a second-degree black belt in karate and Sensei, she taught martial arts for four years. Before moving to North Carolina in 1988, Carol spent 10 years as a reporter and editor at The Washington Post. She has published hundreds of articles in a wide variety of national media outlets including The New York Times, Reader’s Digest, Prevention and Health.

Karen Ziegler, RN, FNP
Reiki Master, Spiritual Counselor
Karen Ziegler is a registered nurse and a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has been practicing Reiki since 1989 and is a Reiki Master (teacher) and a mindfulness meditation teacher. Karen has been learning about spiritual healing in various traditions for nearly 30 years.
Before becoming a nurse, she was a parish minister for 10 years and then developed interfaith pastoral care programs for people with AIDS in New York City. As an ordained minister, she served as Senior Pastor of Metropolitan Community Church of New York from 1978 until 1988. Her experiences with pastoral counseling convinced her that everyone has a genius for their own healing inside them and that spiritual healing is the foundation of mental, emotional, and physical health. Karen traveled to India three times to meditate and study Hindu mystical theology and experience.
In addition to her work at Duke IM, she currently serves on the Practice Course faculty of Duke University School of Medicine and works as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the Duke Diet and Fitness Center. She graduated from Union Theological Seminary (MDiv) in 1979, New York Theological Seminary (DMin) in 1984, Columbia University School of Nursing in 1994 (BSN), and Duke University School of Nursing in 1998 (MSN). In 2006, she completed a two-year Fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University Of Arizona College Of Medicine.

Jeanne van Gemert, M.F.A., L.M.B.T., M.A., L.P.C. - Mind/Body Therapist
Jeanne van Gemert, MFA, LMBT, MA, LPC is a Mind/Body Therapist utilizing Body-Centered and Expressive Arts modalities as well as Mindfulness Meditation. Jeanne assists individuals and groups to understand, transform and integrate their emotions, beliefs, thoughts and spirit.
Using skilled attention, Jeanne offers collaborative multi-modality interventions that promote the unfolding of individuals' psyches and provide deeply meaningful experiences. Jeanne has been an Instructor in the Duke Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program since 1999 and participates in the Community Dharma Leader training program at Spirit Rock Meditation Center.
Jeanne holds an MFA in Sculpture from Syracuse University and an MA in Counseling Psychology from Lesley University with specializations in Holistic Health, the Expressive Therapies of Art, Movement and Sand Tray work, and Group Dynamics. She received Bodywork training at the Baltimore Holistic Health Center and is certified in CranioSacral Therapy, Zero Balancing and Massage. She is a graduate of the Barbara Brennan School of Healing. Jeanne also trained in other body energy systems and shamanic practices.

Janet K. Shaffer, LAc -
Licensed Acupuncturist
Janet K. Shaffer, Licensed Acupuncturist, has been in private practice since 1999 and is certified in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology and Oriental Medicine from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She also brings the tools of counseling, coaching and teaching to her collaborative relationship with patients.
Janet graduated from Brown University with a BA in Psychology and was a Division I swimmer. Prior to her work in health care, she counseled young adults with disabilities, taught English as a Second Language in night school, and coached club and high school swimming programs in upstate New York and Nicaragua. She graduated from the comprehensive Chinese Medicine program at the Florida Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1999 and interned in a family and geriatric practice before opening her own practice in Tampa, Florida. Janet has been an instructor in community college and graduate courses, community education panels, and Hospice retreat workshops. She has cared for patients of all ages and levels of health and is dedicated to the implementation of wellness and assisting patients in attaining the healing results they want for themselves.

Beth Reardon, MS, RD, LDN - Integrative Nutrition
Beth Reardon received her undergraduate training in Nutritional Biochemistry at Cornell University and her master’s degree in Kinesiology from University of Michigan. As a practitioner of integrative nutrition she takes a holistic approach to wellness, recognizing that the foundation for optimal health and healing begins with a health promoting diet. Her emphasis is on using medical nutrition interventions to create a foundation for health promotion and healing.
Prior to her work at Duke Integrative Medicine, Beth held a faculty position at Elon University teaching Nutrition and Cooking for cancer prevention and survival. She serves on the Nutrition Advisory Board for Contemporary OB/GYN, a peer reviewed journal, and held the position of Wellness Coordinator for the Johns Hopkins Health Plan in Baltimore, Maryland. While serving as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Duke, her clinical and research focus centered on the role of diet and exercise in managing pre-menopausal breast cancers and prostate cancers.
Beth is a member of the Complimentary Care Nutrition Practice Group. Upon completion of her LEAP certification, she will offer nutrition counseling for those persons struggling with food sensitivities and/or intolerances.

Noah St. John, MS, RD -
Exercise Specialist
Noah St. John brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his work as an integrative exercise specialist. Noah earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Penn State University and his master’s degree in Clinical and Sport Nutrition at Florida State University. Noah is also a Registered Dietitian, which makes his contribution to our integrative care team even more valuable.
Noah has worked extensively with a variety of populations, from elite athletes to the elderly and disabled. Highlights include extensive strength and conditioning work with Penn State athletes, as well as three years of professional personal training in both Florida and North Carolina, during which he provided teaching, motivation and assistance to clients wishing to lose significant weight and increase fitness. He also spent two years providing personal training support for an academic research project investigating the effects of resistance training on chronic pain and fatigue associated with fibromyalgia.
Noah believes that, while exercise and the prescription of exercise is largely mechanical in dealing with the body, understanding the complexities of motivation, emotion and spirit are critical in order to achieve overall health.

Jennifer Davis, M.S., L.P.C. - Psychotherapist; Licensed Professional Counselor
Prior to joining Duke Integrative Medicine, Jennifer Davis, MS, provided health psychology services for multiple programs at the Duke Center for Living, including Duke Executive Health Program, Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Programs, the Getting on Track Weight Management Program, as well as teaching stress management and meditation classes and providing individual and group therapy. She has been working in the field of health psychology at the Duke Center for Living since 1999.
Davis's clinical and research work has focused on lifestyle change, multicultural and gender differences in body-image, the impact of spirituality on heart and lung disease risk and rate of recovery from heart and lung transplant, and exploring meditation and mindfulness-based treatment for binge eating, compulsive eating, and the treatment of obesity. She is currently the study coordinator of an NIH-funded grant investigating the use of meditation and mindfulness-based skills for weight maintenance.
Davis received her Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling and Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1999, and completed an internship at the Duke Center for Living that same year.
She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in North Carolina. She is also a meditation teacher, certified as a QuitSmart Smoking Cessation instructor and as a LifeSkills trainer, and is credentialed in medical hypnotherapy. She currently provides individual counseling with special interest in obesity and disordered eating, stress-related health problems, anxiety, depression, smoking cessation, and lifestyle change.

Jessica P. Wakefield, M.A., L.P.A. - Psychotherapist and Integrative Health Coach; Health Education Specialist
Prior to joining Duke Integrative Medicine in 2002, Jessica P. Wakefield, MA, LPA was a lifestyle maintenance counselor with the Duke Diet and Fitness Center and an assistant research coordinator for the Duke Cancer Control Research Program.
Wakefield received her Master of Arts in health psychology from Appalachian State University in 2001, and completed her clinical internship at the Duke Diet and Fitness Center and the Duke Center for Living that same year. From 2004 to present, Wakefield has sought additional training in life coaching through the Coaches Training Institute and has learned coaching techniques to help clients find life fulfillment, balance, and process. Wakefield is currently a licensed psychological assistant (master's level psychologist) in North Carolina and a certified QuitSmart Smoking Cessation instructor.
Wakefield's clinical and coaching practices have focused on helping individuals to obtain optimal health and well-being. She has helped clients lose weight, stop smoking, reduce stress, become physically active, better cope with anxiety, depression and life adjustments, and improve overall health and quality of life. In her work with clients, Wakefield uses the mind-body approaches of mindfulness meditation and relaxation training (i.e., breath work, progressive muscle relaxation and imagery) and cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, person-centered and interpersonal therapies and coaching techniques with clients.
Wakefield's research has also focused on helping individuals to make healthy lifestyle changes. During her time at Duke Integrative Medicine, she has been a research therapist on an NIH-funded study exploring the utilization of meditation and mindfulness-based treatments for binge-eating disorder, a health coach for the CMS-funded grant using a Strategic Health Planning model to reduce 10-year risk of cardiovascular disease and as research coordinator for the GlaxoSmithKline-funded study looking at diabetics and asthmatics barriers to medication adherence.

Jeffrey M. Greeson, Ph.D., M.S. - Clinical Health Psychologist and Postdoctoral Research Fellow; Clinical Associate, Medical Psychiatry
Prior to joining Duke Integrative Medicine as a full-time faculty member and Postdoctoral Fellow, Jeffrey Greeson, PhD, MS, was a Medical Psychology Intern in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Duke University Medical Center. He received his PhD in Clinical Health Psychology from the University of Miami in 2006, and earned a Masters degree in Biomedical Chemistry from Thomas Jefferson University in 2001.
Greeson's clinical practice and research are devoted to better treating stress-related health problems, which range from obesity, cardiovascular disease and diabetes to chronic pain and depression. He has a special interest in using the mind/body connection to treat and prevent stress-related symptoms and promote optimal health and well-being. Greeson regularly integrates a number of mind/body skills in his work with medical patients, including meditation, deep relaxation, and cognitive-behavioral therapy.
His research has been recognized at national and international conferences, with several studies published in respected academic journals, including Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine, Psychopharmacology, and The Journal of Neuroscience.

Evangeline Lausier, M.D. - Staff Physician, Internal Medicine; Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine
Dr. Lausier has been on the faculty at Duke since 1993, and recently completed an associate fellowship at the Program for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona, directed by Dr. Andrew Weil. She holds a degree in Medicine from the University of Vermont and completed a medical residency at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME. She holds a pre-med degree in pharmacy from the University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy. Originally from Maine, she has a strong connection to naturalism and botany.
Areas of interest include botanical medicine and pharmacognosy, women's health, and complex multisystem illness, with an emphasis on preventative lifestyle and interdisciplinary approaches to complicated medical issues.

Julie Kosey, M.S., RYT, CPCC, ACC - Integrative Health Coaching Manager
Julie Kosey is a certified professional coach with a passion for enabling people to lead lives inspired by what matters most to them. She joined Duke Integrative Medicine’s coaching team in 2004. Over the last 20 years, Julie’s work experience has included a variety of leadership and service roles. She served as executive director of the Wellness Council of North Carolina consulting with more than 200 organizations to enhance employee health and reduce healthcare costs. The employee wellness program she managed at Rex Healthcare merited a Gold Well Workplace Award and the Governor’s Award for Worksite Health and Fitness. She has also published positive outcomes for a North Carolina state employee health promotion pilot project utilizing coaching.
Julie currently shares time between her role with Duke Integrative Medicine and her private coaching, teaching and consulting business. The clients she has worked with, both individually and in groups, remark about their increased energy and improved life balance.
Julie teaches yoga, mindfulness meditation, stress management, skills to simplify life, weight management, and smoking cessation as well as techniques for enhancing self-esteem and positive performance.
She enjoys being part of the evolving field of coaching and integrating it with mind/body skills to create better results in health, life and business.
Her academic credentials include an M.S. in wellness management with minors in business and counseling from Ball State University, a graduate certificate in alternative health and healing from University of New Hampshire Systems, and a B.A. in psychology from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College. She completed coaching and leadership training through The Coaches Training Institute and is credentialed through the International Coach Federation. In addition, Julie is a registered yoga teacher who received her teaching certification through the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. Her work is grounded in the personal transformation she experienced through Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn’s Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction training for healthcare professionals in 1995.

Kerry Little, M.A. - Integrative Health Coach
Kerry Little has over ten years of experience teaching and working with groups and individuals with a focus on improving their well being. From corporate presentations to one-on-one sessions, Kerry has helped clients lose weight, stop smoking, reduce stress, become physically active and improve their health and quality of life.
As an integrative health coach at Duke Integrative Medicine, Kerry is involved in cutting-edge healthcare and research. It is her calling to assist others in their journey towards better health. She also enjoys coaching clients to achieve the better life they seek and deserve. Kerry received her BA in health education from Elon University, her masters' degree from N.C. State University with a focus on health behavior and her coaching certificate from Totally Coached. Prior to working at Duke, as an account manager with Johnson and Johnson's Health Care Systems, Kerry designed and led a three-month weight loss program where Duke employees lost over four thousand pounds.
Kerry also worked as a health educator and manager at a top hospital-based wellness center where she designed and taught a variety of health programs for corporate clients and members of the community.

Linda Duda, M.S.W. - Integrative Health Coach
Linda Duda is a clinical social worker who maintained a psychotherapy private practice for 15 years specializing in work with adolescents, families and adults. In addition, she was an instructor at Yale Medical School for 8 years, teaching interview techniques. In 2004, Linda received coaching training through the Coaches Training Institute.
At present, she divides her time between her private coaching practice and work at Duke Integrative Medicine. At Duke, Linda provides health coaching to individuals and groups. Her work focuses on helping individuals and groups make lifelong changes that significantly improve their health and quality of life. In addition to coaching, Linda has worked on a GSK-sponsored medication adherence research study and she coordinates the Duke Prospective Health monthly seminar series.

Catherine J. Smith, CDM, CFPP -
Executive Chef, Duke Integrative Medicine
Cate is the Executive Chef at Duke Integrative Medicine’s café, which is a critical link in the services and programs offered by Duke Integrative Medicine. Cate is a Certified Dietary Manager and Food Protection Professional, and brings more than 20 years of culinary and management experience to Duke Integrative Medicine. Cate leads all café activities, including management, operations, food preparation, and integration with Duke Integrative Medicine’s services and programs. Cate is responsible for ensuring that the café and food services serve as a touchstone for the nutritional philosophy of Duke Integrative Medicine’s services and programs.
Cate has been employed by Meriwether-Godsey, a premier regional food service management company, for more than six years in a variety of settings.
